Deep inside i love birthday wishes - I try to act like I don't care. But they are all so appreciated. I don't need / want presents - and that's the truth! But the well wishes and a little smile are so lovely :)
It's weird but- there's something exceptionally special about strangers wishing you a happy birthday too.
Today at my local Starbucks my barista family wished me a happy birthday and wrote it on my cup - I cashed in on a venti size free drink - so not only did I have coffee until the end of the day - I also had birthday love. Anything to make a dreary rainy Friday that much happier!
